Make your own hat or fascinator for the races or special occasion.
In this class the participants will:
Use a variety of millinery materials to make the prescribed headwear project.
Use millinery techniques and stitches e.g. wire stitch, tie tacks etc.
Make a feather flower.
Trim your hat using a variety of materials.
Be introduced to some elements of design to consider when making and wearing headwear/hats.
Prerequisites: This class is appropriate for people who do not have any millinery experience. Some experience or proficiency with hand sewing would be helpful.
Saturdays 8 and 15 June 2017 10am until 4pm (12 hours total) There are 8 places available in the class. Tutor: Rachael Henson
Cost: $170 which includes a kit valued at $50
