Felt Flower Crown
Make a charming felt headband with a sprinkling of felt flowers
In this one day class each participant will create a flattering headband with a crown of felt flowers suitable for the autumn races or just to dress up. There will be a few versions of this headband to choose from and instruction will be provided by Canberra milliner, Rachael Henson. Rachael will talk about the importance of placement of trims and creating an attractive line in a headpiece, regardless of size.
The class has been designed so participants could complete their project in the allocated time if desired.
This class is appropriate for people who do not have any millinery experience. Some experience or proficiency with hand sewing would be helpful.
All materials to make the headband will be supplied and included in the cost of the class. However participants will need to bring a basic sewing kit.
Date: Saturday 6 April 2019
